It hasn’t rained in a few days. 
I miss it like a lover. 
I find myself looking out the window 
Hoping to catch a glimpse of it in the horizon 
Just a hint of dark clouds 
The promise of a visit 
Wriggling my fingers as I wait 
for the appointed time for our rendezvous. 
Ah Rae, I am truly but a sucker for thee.
