A world of damaged souls

April 11, 2026 J. 0 Comments

You see the thing is that we are all messed up.
We are all carrying so much anger and hatred in us from the scars that we carry.

But society demands conformity.
It is an invisible but heavy force that pressures us to be "good".
With very strict rules on what good means.
So we act. All of us.
Like chameleons we mask our damaged selves and
play whatever role we have chosen or has been placed on us.

But fakery is fake.
And every once in a while depending on the person,
that anger and hatred, those scars will show.
We will lash out and get angry at a stranger in traffic for no reason.
And lash out at the beggar on the corner of the street at the slightest provocation.

We are all broken.
We are covered, marred with so many scars.
We just slap pretty, ‘normal’ faces on every day and night.
So we don’t heal. We just get even more scarred, like Dorian’s portrait.
And as a result. We don’t heal

How can we heal when we don’t even let ourselves
acknowledge of the fact that we are not right?
We pretend so well we fool ourselves.
So we don’t have the room to heal.
We then go on to inflict our pains and wounds on others
and the vicious cycle continues.
- A birthright of generational damage
And like a mutation in our DNA,
it is passed along to the ones coming after us, from us.
Not via genetics but nurture.

We are triggered by the slightest things
because we don’t know and understand the burdens we carry.
So we lash out. Instead of inner reflection.
We are suffering from our own forms of PTSD

Whenever you feel triggered by the words and actions of another
I want you to take inner inventory.
"Which of my traumas is being triggered right now?
What is it about this picture that is making my subconscious mind recall a trauma?"

They are all PTSD episodes and we need ..
what we need is not censure and pressure to be something we cannot be
but to be given the room to snap and scream and realize ourselves
- to be seen and heard and guided to be place of being and acceptance
.. then we can begin to heal.

We see someone who’s healing in their own way
through some miracle and we point fingers
and oppress them back to conformity
because we aren’t brave enough to face our own fears and boogeymen.
So we become the monster under some one else’s bed.

The world hasn’t ‘become’ more sensitive.
We are simply always in fight or flight mode now.
We’ve gone back to the time before when man lived in the wilderness and had to always be on guard.
It was a genetic code created and carried for survival.
And through living with our created generational trauma
we have triggered that code which had gone dormant before.
All those signs of stress that you read about..
The hunched shoulders, the tongue stuck of mouth roof
- they are all our bodies remaining in preparation to either run or fight.
Primed for survival.
It’s a very powerful instinct.

They teach us to take deep breaths to calm ourselves.
We’ve even embedded the function into smart watches now.
Why do you think that is?
It’s to calm the brain and senses and tell it the we are at peace and there is no danger.
But your senses keep picking up on danger vibes so we keep pinging back to square one.

We do yoga and meditation,
take antidepressants
and burn incense and aromatic oils
to help us sleep and alleviate stress
- all temporary band aids on a bigger issue.
We are treating the symptoms and not the disease.

We need to break apart. Completely.
Screw the fear and the judgement.
Break apart completely to see what is inside.
We are ephemeral. We are forgetful.
What’s the worst that can happen?
And even if it does, we will die soon.
This journey is not permanent.
And if there are any left to actually care to remember,
they will die too and man will forget.

Or is that your fear? That you will be forgotten.
Well let me help you right this moment.
You WILL be forgotten.
Do you even know your great, great grand mother?
Or her mother? You came from her.
The egg that was you had to be incubated through her womb.
The mitochondria in each of your billions and zillions of cells come from her.
But do you even know her name? Talk less of what her life was?

You will be forgotten.
All that pressure to conform or be something other than what your soul is means nothing.
And therefore the fear is void. It is an illusion.
You learned this fear through your life.
That very first time you spoke up and were hushed.
That time that you reached out your trusting hand and it was smacked away.
You learned this fear.
And now I need you to unlearn it.
I need you to heal.
For you.
For me.

For the ones that will come after us.
